Keep The Ball Down!!

J.A. Happ has been great this year, and you could say he is the Phillies #3 starter. Before today, he was 4-0 with an ERA under 3, but in the second inning he let up 4 runs. He problem today was that he was not throwing many strikes and, when he was throwing strikes, they were pitches belt high or higher. Rocco Baldelli and Nick Greene smashed home runs in the second inning, and they should not be hitting the home runs for the Red Sox. Big Papi and Jason bay should be hitting the home runs, but this shows what MLB hitters can do with pitches up in the zone.

J.A. Happ is still young and will soon be the Phillies #2 starter behind Cole Hamels. He just needs some more coaching for Rich Dubee and work on his control. Don’t worry about it J.A. one bad start so far is not bad!Happ-732433
